In 2019 we rebranded as stc Bahrain, a fully owned subsidiary of the Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC). stc Bahrain Business is the dedicated B2B unit of stc Bahrain, with its own dedicated departments serving our enterprise customers in Bahrain, offering telco, IT and digital services.
In March 2010, we launched intending to transform the telecommunications landscape within the Kingdom of Bahrain and quickly grew to become the leading mobile operator in the country. We were instrumental in rapidly evolving the telecommunications sector as the first local telecom operator to provide speeds of up to 42 Mbps, the first operator to officially launch 4G LTE services and were named as the widest 4G network coverage in the country. This – teamed with our light-speed introduction of products and devices and exceptional customer experience – has been the foundation of our success.
We are a digital disruptor. We aim to challenge well-known players in the market. By 2015 we were widely considered a disruptive driving force for change in the industry. Bahrain’s telecommunications sector is currently in a transformative phase and we're rising to these challenging market dynamics by digitalising our core business and expanding our offering so we can provide cohesive, holistic digital services. STC Bahrain has been consistently making changes to the way it operates, for example, honing our consumer and commercial marketing and evolving in the digital, social and print marketing sectors.

We pride ourselves on having one of the largest and most diversified sales and payment networks of customer touchpoints in Bahrain. This includes a comprehensive retail network, a user-friendly web portal, retail outlets and payment channels across the kingdom, in addition to a distribution channel with over 3,500 outlets spread across the country.
